Barge carries house to harbor

Back in 1993 when "Big Toot" chugged into Scituate Harbor, spectators let out a big cheer. The red tug boat was guiding a 160 foot long barge with a home on it. The house was jacked up and loaded onto the barge at Peggotty Beach. Big Toot pushed the barge around First and Second Cliffs, past the Cedar Point Lighthouse and into Scituate Harbor. The house was then unloaded and moved through narrow streets to its new location. Enjoy the photos!
